Roger Nixon was a reporter for the Metropolis Inquisitor.
History
In 2001, Nixon came to Smallville, with the intent to blackmail Lex Luthor. However, Lex turned to tables on him. Lex gave him an assignment to investigate Lex's recent car accident and Clark Kent, who had saved Lex.[1]
Nixon's investigation led him to the conclusion that Clark had been hit by the car (which should've killed the boy).[2] Lex then instructed Nixon to drop the investigation, but Nixon continued. He blew up a truck, that had Clark in it, to document his powers. Afterwards, Nixon made his way to the storm cellar, where the Kent family kept Clark's spaceship.[3] He was caught by Jonathan Kent, who forced Nixon to surrender all his evidence about Clark. However, upon learning about Clark's weakness to meteor rocks, Nixon attempted to kidnap him and kill Jonathan. He was stopped by Lex, who shot him to death.[4]
