Protection from environment?[]
I seem to remember that the flight rings also provided a weak forcefield as well as being communicators. I do not know for sure if they still do this or if I am remembering it incorrectly. Does anyone have better info than I? LeeKolb 01:32, June 20, 2010 (UTC)
- If that's not true, then I share the same delusion. I can recall multiple times when the flight rings allowed their wearers to avoid harm from the environment, to include proximity to lava or otherwise unaided survival in space.
