Synopsis for "Children of Destiny"Edit
Caitlin Fairchild, Ridge, Thunder, Lightning, Terra, Beast Boy, Windshear and Brighteyes make it to the surface. Fairchild tries to rally the group but several members decide to head out on their own. Suddenly, an escape pod with some of N.O.W.H.E.R.E.'s soldiers bursts up from the ground. The kids prepare for a fight but the soldiers surrender right away. But that doesn't stop the kids from attacking them; still angered by their treatment while being captives. Meanwhile, Rose Wilson and Warblade track down a couple of the kids who left Fairchild's group and kill them. They then head out to find Fairchild and her group. Fairchild finally convinces the group not to kill the soldiers and tells them to wait for a ship to rendezvous with them so they can escape. Unfortunately, the ship has been hijacked by Rose and Warblade. Instead of facing the two, Fairchild decides they're no match for them and uses Thunder's powers to create a barrier in the ice between both groups. But her actions cause the ledge they're standing on to collapse and they plummet over the side of a cliff.
